ID: 124 A Pickup Switch Upgrade for Fender Modern Player Marauder guitar
This assembled and tested Pickup Switch UpgradeTM product (also known as T4M-Switch) gives you 68 Pure Analog pickup tones on your instrument with a triplebucker pickup in the bridge position and single-coil Jazzmaster pickup in the neck position. This is a do-it-yourself project that includes everything you need to install this upgrade into your right-hand or left-hand electric guitar or bass instrument.
"Regarding my upgraded Modern Player Marauder Guitar: It is simply an EXCELLENT extension of my own ideas. I love the perfect layout order of the six switches. Now I have to dump my Jazzmaster: no further need for my first guitar. Robert Jones (KS) audio engineer and composer "
It gives you two groups of three mini switches. One group controls two of the pickup coils, letting you turn each one on and off (both in normal phase and reverse phase) and also lets you select whether the two pickup coils will be in a parallel or series circuit. Putting pickup coils in a series circuit to create compound/humbucker heavy-metal pickup tones. The other group of three mini switches lets you control the other two pickup coils in the identical way already described. Connecting your pickup and input wires to this product uses a no-soldering-needed approach.
Our high performance T4M-Switch gives you 68 pure analog signature sounds. Now you can get all the "hidden" pickup tones that you cannot get with other instruments because they all use an inadequate 5-way pickup switch. Our high performance T4M-Switch will give you all the possible pickup tones from this instrument a total of 68 pure analog pickup tones that no other manufacturer can give you. Are you really satisfied with the creativity-limiting and wimpy 5 stock pickup tones you currently get?
This AweSome upgrade gives you an incredible "Grand Canyon Wide" range of 68 unique pickup tones. And this is before using a processing unit to add even more flavor to this incredible spectrum of tones. This is like an artist suddenly finding 68 more colors of paint to work with. Now you can break out of your "pickup tone prison" and instantly sound better than millions of "5 tone" wannabes. Nothing on earth can give you more Pure Analog Pickup Tone Power than our AweSome upgrade.
Now you can have dozens of unique guitar sounds on just one instrument. Your upgraded guitar will sound like a Strat, a Tele, an LP custom or studio, PRS, Ibanez and pretty much like every electric guitar ever made.
Your seriously upgraded electric guitar will give you the complete range of all the possible pickup tones:
Blues, Jazz, Metal, Surf, intense Country twang, glass-shattering pickup tones and dozens of additional subtle pickup tones in between. This guitar gives the heavy metal crowd pickup tones that are so "Fat" they're OBESE!
Even better, your upgraded guitar will give you the Signature Sounds of ALL the guitar gods of every headliner group since the 1940s. This upgraded is for every serious player who wants quality sound.
Used in the studio, your upgraded guitar will give you an incredible spectrum of 68 unique pickup tones that you just cannot get with "stock" instruments. Your seriously upgraded guitar is like having dozens of guitars all rolled into one instrument. It lightens your load because you need to transport fewer instruments. You only need to tune up one instrument, instead of a dozen or more. You can give the producer the exact tone shade for the segment(s) to which you are contributing. Can you guess who the producer is going to be calling first to collaborate on their next project?
When you perform on stage, your upgraded guitar gives you dozens of unique and exciting pure analog pickup tones that nobody else has. Your six strings will never sound the same again. And NO! You're not going to be using all 68 pickup tones on stage. It's not practical. You're going to sit down and "map" out all the pickup tones that are available to you. After doing that, you're going to use just two or three pickup tones. One tone will be used to blend in with the group, the other one/two tones will be your primary/secondary Signature Sounds that nobody else has except you.
This AweSome upgrade will give you the ultimate "Holy Crap" experience!
Once you play your upgraded guitar and experience the incredible range of pickup tone nirvana you get with our AweSome T4M-Switch, you will never again be satisfied with the creativity-limiting wimpy stock five pickup tones.
Your upgraded electric guitar will not just be AweSome, it will be surprisingly AweSome.

This switching system cannot be used with active (battery-powered) pickups or pizeo pickups.
Active (i.e., battery-powered) pickups manufactured by Bartolini, EMG, Seymour Duncan, etc. will not work with our growing family of high performance patented Pickup Switch UpgradeTM products. These active pickups use a design that prevents any of the pickups from being put into series because it sends -9VDC back to the first pickup, shorting out the circuit. Although some manufacturers now sell "add on" products to give you some of the functionality that our products automatically provide, this design limits their versatility and increases the cost to the musician. Many people who have tried these products remove them because they are "too sterile sounding". Anything that uses batteries will likely go dead at a crucial time - like when you're performing or in the recording studio. Bill Lawrence was right when he said, "Batteries belong in flashlights."
